Its a Pirate's Life - Prop Design
Last but not least, our little Pirate Adventurers need some props! In the image above you can find the USS Sunken Skully, the boat that the crew uses on their adventures underwater. You can also see the treasure map. Skully seems to have lost a piece of it, and so the team sets out to find it. Finally, we have various sizes and shapes of a broken dollar which serves as different coins, and a literal "Sand" dollar. Finally, we have Skully's special drink bottle.

When I was making thumbnails for the crew boat, I knew I wanted it to look like a sunken ship, but I wasn't sure how I wanted it to move. Ultimately, I went with a more simple idea, but this was fun.
Here I was playing around with different maps, bottles, and currency ideas.
During the color comp stage, I had a lot of fun making sure all the items looked nice next to each other.
Here's me playing around with the map and boat. I decided in the end I didnt want these to be too bright, since they had been underwater for a while.
